As if you needed another reason to get excited for Navigate 2016basketball legend, broadcaster and humanitarian, Bill Walton has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for Continuum's third annual user conference. Walton, presented by Navigate 2016 Titanium Sponsor, Webroot, will speak on the topic of perseverance and overcoming adversity.

The NBA and NCAA champion has a lot to say on the subject, as he had to overcome many debilitating injuries over the course of his playing career. In fact, Bill Walton is the most injured player in NBA history, missing at total of 9 and a half full seasons. Additionally, before becoming a professional broadcaster, Walton had to overcome the lifelong stutter that afflicted him.

Bill Walton is presenting, “Success and Overcoming Adversity,” and will make a one-hour appearance at Webroot’s booth on Thursday, September 29.

It's appropriate that Walton will be speaking in Boston, as he was a vital member of the World Champion 1986 Boston Celtics team that many consider to be one of the greatest NBA teams of all time.

Charlie Tomeo, Vice President of Channel and Technical Sales at Webroot, knows just how influential Bill Walton's presentation will be to Navigate 2016 attendees.

“As an individual who was inducted into both the Basketball Hall of Fame and the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame, Bill Walton exemplifies success when it comes to overcoming adversity. With the leadership and education witnessed at Continuum’s events, we look forward to drawing on Bill’s ability to achieve success when presented with challenges.”

Not to be overlooked is the news that Webroot will be the Titanium Sponsor of Navigate 2016 for the second consecutive year. Jeanne Hopkins, Senior Vice President & CMO at Continuum, shared her excitement.

“We are delighted to have Webroot as our Titanium sponsor for the second year in a row. We aim to kick Navigate up a notch each year, and with the help of Webroot and confirming Bill Walton as a dynamic speaker, we are able to do that again with Navigate 2016.”
