Each week, Continuum spotlights an employee who has gone above and beyond. The spotlight is more than just recognition of the hard work being done at Continuum, but a look into the person behind that work. We find out what our employees do for fun, what their favorite movies are, what their passions are and much more. We also ask them about their experiences working at Continuum and what they like most about their job. Check back each week to find out who made the Employee Spotlight.

This week, Andrew Dunfee is being featured!

Andrew is the Director of Corporate Development for Continuum and works in the Boston office.

Let's get to know Andrew a little better...

Andrew at Continuum

How long have you been working for Continuum? "A little more than two years."

How did you hear about Continuum in the first place? "A former co-worker works at Summit and put me in touch with Steve Cardillo."

What is your favorite thing about working for Continuum? "I like that people care about each others' well-being outside of work."

What is your best memory as a Continuum employee? "I've had some awesome interns that have done great work for the company and provided a lot of good memories. Gronk-spiking bananas with the team after waking up early one morning and running the Harvard stairs is the most triumphant memory that comes to mind."

Do you have any fun/funny stories about your co-workers? "One that I've told a few times is that during my initial interview with Steve Cardillo, we were walking outside and I apparently decided it would be a good idea to get in the same revolving door quadrant as him. I smoothly shuffled behind him and he lauded me for my creativity despite a clear lack of attention to detail. Still working on that one."

What do you look for in a good company? "I look for leaders that enable their employees to become successful and grow at an aggressive pace."

Would you recommend applying at Continuum to a friend? "I would ask Mo Kandil or Collin Rhea."

More about Andrew

What is an interesting fact about yourself? "The summer before my senior year when I was working as an unpaid intern I used to discreetly drink a gallon of milk a day and hide it under my desk when the boss came by. I have also fallen asleep while eating spaghetti."

What is your favorite movie? "Malibu's Most Wanted."

What is your favorite TV show? "Who Wore it Best!?"

What do you like to do for fun? "I like sports a lot and generally running around exhausting myself."

What is your hidden talent? "Back in college I could fold a frying pan in half, albeit slowly."

What is your favorite animal? "Dogs are pretty cool, but I'm also not literally crazy about them."

Do you play any instruments? "I played the trumpet for six years."

What kind of music do you like to listen to? "I like listening to good vocalists. My favorite singer is Jon Foreman."

Do you follow/play any sports? If so, which teams/sports? "I grew up playing soccer and basketball and I follow the New England sports teams."

If you could travel anywhere on earth for vacation, where would you go? "I really like San Francisco so I would probably go there and play around by the beach."

What is your favorite song to sing at karaoke? "By play count it's probably Eminem's 'Lose Yourself,' embarrassing as that is."

If you could have any super power, what would it be? "Probably the ability to shrink everyone down to pint-size like in Mario Kart. Would be ideal for riding the T or avoiding traffic."
