Employee Spotlight: Josh Bentley

Posted April 8, 2016by Ben Barker

Each week, Continuum spotlights an employee who has gone above and beyond. The spotlight is more than just recognition of the hard work being done at Continuum, but a look into the person behind that work. We find out what our employees do for fun, what their favorite movies are, what their passions are and much more. We also ask them about their experiences working at Continuum and what they like most about their job. Check back each week to find out who made the Employee Spotlight.

This week, Josh Bentley is being featured after winning "Employee of the Month" in our Pennsylvania office!

Check out what Josh's manager, Jacque Rowden had to say about Josh's performance in March!

"I am pleased to announce that Josh Bentley has been selected for Employee of the Month award for the month of March, 2016. Josh has shown initiative in gaining certifications and also bringing solutions to problems that he notices to his Team Lead and Management.  We are proud to have Josh on our team."

Josh is a Help Desk Technician at Continuum. Let's get to know Josh a little better...

Josh at Continuum

How did you hear about Continuum in the first place? "Some of my college friends worked here and I lived with an old employee that worked here at the time."

What is your best memory as a Continuum employee? "It is hard to say that I have one best memory while working here as there are a lot of great memories. But one is when I messed with my supervisor, Bill Stevens. I took his lobster from his desk then took a photo of it and emailed it to him from a shared mailbox demanding that we get to go home early or the crab gets boiled. The look on his face when he saw the email was priceless. He was wondering who took it and who sent the email."

Do you have any other fun/funny stories? "One Saturday, shortly after I started working here, I thought it would a good idea to ride my Harley to work and just enjoy the day. While sitting in a meeting, a few of us were making jokes that it would be funny if it started raining. Not even 30 minutes later, it started to down pour and everyone just turned and looked right at me. All I could do was shake my head because I knew the ride home was not going to be fun."

Would you recommend applying at Continuum to a friend? "Yes! Even if you feel you don’t know a lot about IT, the people that work here are great and will show you different things and teach you how to address different issues."
