Can you believe that there are only 25 days left until Navigate 2015? Do you have your suitcases all packed and your itinerary finalized yet? OK, maybe I'm jumping the gun, but at least tell me you've downloaded the mobile app! If you haven't yet, now's the perfect time to plan your Navigate adventure. Keep reading for app download instructions and an overview of features that will make your Vegas experience truly unforgettable.
Prepare for blast off!
To create your personal mobile app account, open the following link: https://accounts.crowdcompass.com/users/sign_up (If you already have a CrowdCompass account, you can skip this step!)

Just like the conference itself, we designed the mobile app with our partners in mind! To make sure you take full advantage of the Navigate 2015 experience, we suggest you check out the following app features highlighted in the overview video above:
This is simply the icon with three horizontal lines that will direct you to the menu pictured below when tapped.
As you can see under the My Items dropdown, you can personalize how you use the app. Three features especially worth noting are My Schedule, My Contacts, and My Messages.
After perusing our conference agenda on the Navigate 2015 website, you may have made mental notes of which sessions to attend. With My Schedule, you can actually plan out your 3 days by selecting which of the 37 awesome presentations you want to sit in on. I'd advise you to plan your schedule ahead of time so you know which sessions to prioritize. Even if you get there and change your mind, however, you can always adjust within the app!
This is where you can collect a list of people you want to follow up with. Consider it your "Doh! I forgot to get his/her business card." safety net. To add someone to your My Contacts list, select the Networking feature from the Event Guide, highlighted in the picture below.
There, you will be able to access the full list of conference attendees. Navigate is the perfect opportunity to meet and network with your MSP peers face-to-face, and you're going to want those connections to live on, long after the event!
In keeping with this idea, the private My Messages feature lets you keep tabs on the hundreds of people you'll be meeting and speaking with. Maybe you want to grab a drink with them later or perhaps you forgot to ask which of the four tracks they're attending after lunch. You simply have to add them as a contact and then message them in My Messages. No fishing around for their cards to look up email addresses!
If you don't know your way around the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, the luxury hotel where Navigate is being held, you can always refer to the Map feature within the app. This will be especially useful in making sure you end up in the right rooms on-time.
When you download the mobile app, you'll get real-time updates for any schedule changes or important announcements you won't want to miss. This came in handy last year when we had a special surprise visit from the then CEO and President of the Red Sox, Larry Lucchino.
After so many partners participated in our photo scavenger hunt game last year, we knew we had to bring it with us to Vegas. For those unfamiliar with the app game, you'll be given a series of photo challenges to complete with the hopes of earning all Captain's Log badges. Some examples of photos include your beverage of choice at LIGHT Nightclub and winning it big at the casino.
Not only is the scavenger hunt a fun way to capture memorable moments of your trip, each player that reaches X amount of points will win a $25 gift card!
