Mumbai Team Enjoys "Panipuri Day"

Posted March 15, 2016by Ben Barker

Continuum's Network Operations Center (NOC) is known for its large and hard-working staff, but that doesn't mean that they don't know how to have a little fun. One of the teams at the NOC is the Vikings Fundoos team, who, among other responsibilities, take it upon themselves to make sure everyone has fun at work. The team put on a Panipuri Day in the cafeteria on the 8th floor of the Mumbai facility.

Panipuri is one of the most loved snacks in Mumbai. The snack is also often referred to as "golgappa" and is a common street food in several regions of South Asia.  Panipuri consists of a round, hollowed out and fried puri, or Indian bread. The puri is filled with a mixture of flavored water, chutney, chili, chaat masala, potatoe, onion and chickpeas.

More than 3,000 Panipuris were made during the event which was as much about staff bonding as it was enjoying a delicious snack. Panipuri day was planned as a part of the monthly team engagement program.

Check out some more pictures of the team enjoying their bonding event!
